Delete your account

Email support@birbal.club from the email address associated with your Birbal.club account. Include your registered phone number so we can locate your record.

The same email path applies whether you use our iOS app, our Android app, or the website — a single request covers your account across all platforms.

Once we verify your identity, we will permanently delete or irreversibly anonymise:

• Your profile and contact details (name, email, phone).
• Your financial profile and preferences (income, employment, expenses, goals).
• Credit information we hold on your behalf (score, report, bureau data).
• Identity and verification documents you uploaded (KYC photos, PAN, Aadhaar, photographs of yourself).
• Financial documents you uploaded or forwarded (bank statements, salary slips, account statements).
• Conversation history and in-app interaction logs.

Some information may be retained where we are legally or operationally required to keep it — for example, transaction records for audit or tax purposes, and records of consent for a limited retention period. Diagnostic information (crash and performance data) is not linked to your identity and is not affected by account deletion.

Deleting your Birbal.club account does not delete information already held by a lending partner. If you submitted a credit application through the Platform, the lender you selected received your application and supporting documents and holds them as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. To exercise data-protection rights against that lender — including deletion or access — please contact the lender directly. Where you need help identifying which lender received your application, email us and we will point you to the right party.

We will acknowledge your deletion request within a few working days and complete deletion within 30 daysof verification. Once your account is deleted, you will receive an email confirmation. You may need to sign up again if you wish to use the Platform in future — a new account will not restore any previously deleted data.
